In 2017, she won the City People Movie Award for Movie Director of the Year (English titles)
She has directed many television productions, she was awarded the Best Programme Director by Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards in 2016.
Tope was the best graduating student of her set, she is a graduate of Theatre Arts, T.V. & Film Production from Lagos State University, Nigeria in 2000.
