- In 1987, he worked on an international film project titled SOWETO directed by Mike Reburn.
- He was involved in the international film titled Mister Johnson directed by Bruce Beresford in 1990.
- Sani produced a feature film titled Mountain Blues in 2007, the film won the Best Feature film award at the Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF).
